Imperium Garage Suite ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Imperium Garage Suite management portal and the Imperium Garage - Driver App mobile companion software. This Privacy Policy informs drivers, workshop technicians, and garage personnel about our practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal data when using our applications.

2. Data We Collect

We collect information strictly necessary to provide workshop operations, breakdown recovery coordination, shift logging, and fleet management services:

• Account & Contact Information: Name, professional email address, phone number, and branch assignments provided by your garage administrator.
• Precise Geolocation Data: When clocked into active work shifts or responding to active breakdown recovery dispatches, the Driver App accesses device location (foreground and background) to verify attendance, coordinate recovery routes, and update arrival estimates. Location tracking is only active during logged-in operational shifts.
• Vehicle Intake & Operational Logs: Vehicle registration numbers (VRM), mileage, digital inspection checklists, damage condition photographs, and mechanical notes captured via device camera.
• Device & Usage Diagnostics: Crash diagnostics, operating system versions, and performance logs to ensure application stability across mobile devices.

3. How We Use Your Data

The collected information is used solely for the following commercial purposes:

• Authenticating authorized workshop technicians and recovery drivers.
• Dispatching roadside breakdown recovery jobs and coordinating technician dispatch.
• Logging verified staff shift hours, daily attendance, and timesheet records.
• Processing vehicle intake inspections and mechanical parts requisitions.
• Ensuring security, debugging crashes, and fulfilling regulatory obligations under UK transportation and garage regulations.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data to advertisers or third-party marketing brokers. Data is shared strictly with authorized infrastructure partners required for operation:

• Cloud Database Infrastructure (Supabase / AWS Ireland EU cluster) with end-to-end encryption at rest and in transit.
• Mapping & Routing APIs (Google Maps Platform) for breakdown coordination.
• Transactional Email / SMS Services (Resend / AWS SES) for shift and job dispatch alerts.

5. Data Retention & Security

We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/HTTPS 1.3, AES-256) and strict tenant Row-Level Security (RLS) policies. Your data is retained only for as long as your garage account remains active or as required by applicable UK accounting and fleet compliance statutory periods.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & UK DPA)

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:
